Who am I?

My name is Lizette Welgraven, 53 years old and living in Wageningen.

I am a creative, artistic, empathetic jack-of-all-trades.

Originally a coach and organizer.

I have a passion for connecting people and mainting the connection. Especially nowadays where people seem to be standing further and further apart.

I also have a good sense of humor and I'll try to touch the bridal couple with my eye for detail and connection. In short, sometimes with a smile and sometimes with a tear or both.

Working Method:

A no-obligation introduction is the first step. After the introduction you can decide whether you choose me as your wedding official. For that first acquaintance I'd like to visit you at home or we can plan a conversation in the open air when the weather is good. In that conversation I 'd like to tell you everything you want and need to know.

Approaching loved ones around the bridal couple ensures interaction and involvement. That makes the ceremony special and even more personal!

If you then decide that I can marry you, I'll confirm the appointment in writing and a down payment will follow. I'll come to your home about 6 weeks before your wedding day. We'll have a more extensive conversation with each other, so I'll be able to get a good impression of your life together. With your wishes/requirements and my experience we can give meaning to the wedding ceremony.

During this meeting we'll determine the script of the ceremony. In the 6 weeks until the wedding you'll receive some 'homework' and I'll approach loved ones around you. I'd like to hear details about you from them so that I can incorporate this into the speech. This ensures that I really get to know you . The contact with your loved ones ensures that I can involve them in your story.

On the wedding day l'll be present at the wedding location about an hour in advance . The wedding ceremony takes about 50 minutes. After the ceremony, I often toast to your happiness and then I usually leave unnoticed.

Experience:

A few years ago I successfully completed the training as a wedding official. In recent years I 've married a few befriended couples and acquaintances. After the silent period due to Corona, I'm trying to pick up where I left off and hope you also say ′′ yes ′′ to me and I can make your day the most beautiful day of your life.

How romantic is it to renew your vows every once in a while? This is very trendy nowadays. many others preceded you. A copper, silver, gold marriage!

Then why not a ceremony where you say 'Yes' again as a seal of your love!

This can be done almost anywhere. At a party location, the place where you first met, the sports club, the beach at sunset or at your home, nothing is too crazy, almost everything is possible!

Or, due to circumstances, did you get married for free years ago or became registered partners because, for example, there were insufficient financial resources but you had to legally wed? And do you still have the desire to get married with evertything that comes along with it ? Then it is possible to get married ceremonially.

Reconfirmation

Isn't it a fantastic gift for your parents, for example, when they have been married for 12.5, 25 or even 50 years?

I'll make a beautiful speech with renewed marriage vows. The children, family, friends or neighbours will contribute to the speech.

It also doesn't matter at all where the anniversary will be celebrated; at home (in the living room or garden), in a café, in the football canteen, or in a party room. .

Of course it is important that the jubilee couple is open to it. My experience is that a nice speech, which looks back on an often rich past with many ups (and downs), will be remembered for a long time.

What is the fee?

My fee is € 695, which is incl. 21% VAT and excluding travel costs. My reimbursement does not include municipal fees!

Weddings in Tenerife

Getting married on a beautiful island where the sun almost always shines. Where you can get married in a location where you will be surrounded by nature and the sea is your view. You can do this in Tenerife. Please contact me for the possibilities. I know the island like the back of my hand and I speak fluently the Spanish language. I've made many contacts and can offer you various beautiful locations. For getting married in Tenerife I use the same fee as the Netherlands. But this amount doesn't include airfare, accommodation half board and other costs such as municipal costs.
